you seem to believe that logic matters. they have to try everything cause common sense do not work on religious people. eventhough muslim women say they want to wear the shit, its because of fear for their gods or their man, or the society, not at all because they want to. your youtube vid was pretty shit btw, and proves what i say. "i wear it to be faithfull to my religion", a religion they did not choose themselfs. im not saying banning will work lol, but somethings gotta be done. im gonna grab my popcorn and see whats gonna happen with all of these. |
Are you seriously that stupid? You believe that discriminating against them even more is going to dissuade the radicals of the bunch from doing any more harm? Again, that doesn't make any sense.
Almost everything we do in our lives is directly related to our socialization. Women wear makeup because they have been socialized to believe they should wear it, not necessarily because they want to. People put on their seat belts because they are told they should, not always because they feel like it. People face the front of the elevator because social norms make you think that's what is appropriate, not because you are particularly interested at looking at the door. To say that people aren't doing these things willingly is absurd.
Yes, they have been taught/convinced/socialized to wear the niqab, but that doesn't mean they aren't doing so willingly. If that is your argument, then freewill doesn't exist.
And why do you think "somethings gotta be done"? Why not just let them wear what they want? It doesn't affect you in any way.
