separate your kick in 2 parts, with filters. top and bottom, then you can do whatever you want with the top part

it's not that easy, simple eq won't do, can cause more damage as few said, i need the frequency to be there but with less/shorter attack

Attack transients are the very front end of sounds. For kicks, this is usually a sharp clicky sound at the start, followed by the tail which contains all the bass impact.

Some sounds have no attack transients, such as pads with a very slow attack.

Yeah, either adjust the attack in the sampler or with a transient designer would be my tip.

If you want to get really fancy you could use a filter with an envelope follower and use it to filter the top end of the attack.
