I don't know about Windows, but with OSX it's also possible to record with Quicktime. Just a little tip.

I had a PC in my studio before, but as of early 2010 the studio is all Mac. For video recording on the Mac, I use the great little gem of a software called ScreenFlow. Works beautifully. Zero setup, just go.

Does that capture all audio going through your audio card? Both plugins and voice?

I'm using Camtasia Studio 7 on the PC and it's a pita to record both at the same time as it's refusing to 'see' my MR816.
