Forget the TC level pilot.

For less money ($59) the sm pro audio Nano Patch has less distortion/colouration.

If you want to spend more then don't bother unless you're going to part with $400+ and go with the Kush Main Gain.

You could use the presonus central station, which is a good clean unit but I don't like the fact the volume pot is so small, it's rackmount, and really suited to someone with multiple input and output setups. It's overkill for a pair of monitors from your computer.

and how can i explain this. i don't want something that sounds like software, or distinctly sounds like software on purpose, i don't know where you got that from the psp vw is a software emulation of something hardware does when it colors the bass and mid bass, making it distinctly fatter. i would like to try to get that effect with some actual hardware.

Erm, I think what you're trying to say (and really failing) is that you want some hardware.....
