guys, surface is becoming a wicked wicked club


max graham, mistres barbara, and john 00 flemming are all playing within the next month...

the space, sound and ambiance is wicked...i highly advise supporting this club.....coming from MTL will be worth it...

Doesn't Max Graham and Mistress Barbara spin deep house or techno or something? I saw Deep Dish spin at The Surface and I disliked it - if Max Graham or Mistress Barbara drop tunes like that I don't think I would like to go. Any info?

I will be at the Surface when J00F is spinning for sure. Too bad I don't have a TA t-shirt to wear so we all could meet each other there.

how about we choose a place to meet.....like in the main room, absolute back corner...furthest away from the DJ....but still on the main dance floor.....where all the the freaks hang out....whaddaya think?

in the coming days....i can give you a descrption of what i look like if you want....i dont know what i will choose to do with the plethora of facial hair i currently got....maybe a good old fashion goatee....maybe a braided beard? maybe i'll go au naturale? who knows? who cares

miss b plays techno and from what i hear you will have no legs after she's done with you.

max is more progressive trance, a bit slow sometimes but he knows how to build stuff. last time i heard him he was playing some more techy stuff and no melodies, but i check his top 10 and he got some melodies in there specially his remix of barakka - song to the siren very nice tune

Near the weirdoes? How about on the 2nd floor, along the back wall where the wall meets the railing that overlooks the dance floor? We could just mention what we're gonna wear on that night and it'd be easier.

Yeah, I had tickets to go see Max Graham spin on Canada day. But I got baked on the golf course earlier that day and couldn't make it out (it was sooooooo fuckin hot!). My appologies again to DiscoJoe for not calling him - I was done like dinner. Maybe I'll check Max Graham out next time I get a chance.

haha.. no worries dude. I still had a great time. I'll probably be there for J00F and i'd love to meet some of you guys. Fucking friends canceled AGAIN... I don't know the best time to show up though. Anyone have the lowdown?

BTW.. If you didnt like deep dish you probably wouldnt like max graham. They are a little more deep housey but its still more or less the same style of music.

max is much different than deep dish...max plays progressive like deep dish, but the pulls out tracks out of nowhere that make you go what the fuck..absolutely killer......

and he actullay plays some trance and alot harder than dd...deep dish is more house..

and max can scratch like nutz..he used to be a hip-hop dj back in the day...

Hey Greg...great idea.....how about we meet AWAY from the weirdos and freaks......although i honeslty fit right in with them.....Ok.....second floor, back corner, where the railing meets the wall and still overlooks the dance floor below.....cool?
