No but on topic, I tend to agree with the original post. For the most part. I do have some objections and I definitely would have to move Deadmau5 up at least into the top3. And Skrillex, no way he should even be considered in the top10. Anyways, my top 10 would be..
#1 Sander Van Doorn - Great dj, fantastic person. There's not a show I've seen where he's not behind the decks smiling, enjoying himself, and dropping bombs for the crowd to dance to. He's released quite a few tracks this year that have been chart toppers and he deserves this spot.
#2 Armin Van Buuren - Popularity wins out on this spot, and I wouldn't put him here by choice but I think the masses speak for themselves. I really can't stand his arrogance nor the countless "Jesus" poses that are encountered throughout his sets but from a production standpoint his tracklists grow daily and they all seem to be favorited by his following and they're pretty decent.
#3 Deadmau5 - He was on tour most of this year, as were others, but with his music coming mostly from analog synthesizers that remain behind while he's on the road, there's not much he can do other than just rock the clubs and enjoy the sites when he's away. However, this year he's proven to a remarkable DJ and worthy of being in the top 3.
#4 Above & Beyond - No suprise here. Although it would've been had Group Therapy not taken off as it did. Not even mentioning "Thing Called Love" or "Sun & Moon" Above & Beyond carried this year with a couple of the most inspirational tracks of 2011. They definitely deserve a top5 spot.
#5 Avicii - If you name a handful of dj's that have risen as quickly as this guy the name that comes to mind is Deadmau5. Though remarkably different, Avicii's sounds are a crowd favorite, he's well in demand, and from a production standpoint his music is top-notch. Definitely, at least for this year, a top5 dj.
#6 Ferry Corsten - With his only release being "Feel It" which in my sets doesn't get much playing time. It's been somewhat quiet on the Corsten front. Corsten definitely, on an ongoing basis gets a top3 spot but this year, there were other dj's that really outshined Ferry- even though he's my favorite dj- from a top100 spot this is where he landed.
#7 Tiesto - Not much coming out from the Tiesto camp these days besides oversaturation of his brand and mid-level compiliations. His Club Life series, although decent listening was only played once in my place and that's hugely different from albums past. There were no real standouts as he's had in past albums and no real nights to remember this year either. But, because the masses seem to hang on anything Tiesto here he is.
#8 Alesso - More noticed as producer, and not as a touring DJ, Alesso get's mad props for this years releases. Not only was his flavour distinctly different from like producers, he's remixes were by far the best released this year. However, due to a lack of following and no real compiliations to speak of, he gets a top10 nod.
#9 Kaskade - With most of the spots reserved for hugely popular trance dj's and hot dj's e.g. Deadmau5 and Avicii, Kaskade is not to be overlooked. His house sets remain some of the best in the business and because of his awesome personality and his genuine love for what he does, he's in my top10.
#10 Chuckie - Although he should be ranked much higher based on skill alone. The energy of his sets, the thoughtfulness that's apparent in each of his compiliations plus, with his remixes and originals, Chuckie rounds out the top10 as a truly global DJ.

it would show how accurately it represents the popularity of artists. Skrillex has gotten huge in a very little amount of time. Representing this on the poll would show that the pool is with the times and give it more credibility.
