I guess so, it's just a little more work though. And you have to be able to work with audio samples instead of synths in some instances but it's not that much work. At least I didn't think it was.

i like it when you have to send over audio files. It mostly means you have to commit more and in turn it speeds up the production process a lot!

I really couldn't see how 2 could collab w/out some sort of exchange of audio files.
Even if 2 people take on the obligation to work on specific parts of the track you're still both putting your name on the track so reviewing each others work and getting that feedback seems almost mandatory.

At any rate I think collabing 90% of the time is better than working alone. I mean just think how often we all likely work alone and how little feedback we get on the multitude of things we work on. I'm sure certain people like cryo regularly collab and the potential for learning gets smaller the more you do it. But for more avg producers like myself just to get a breath of someone elses work flow could serve extraordinary gains to your own workflow/style.

I've always been down for collabs you just really need 2 or more people that are willing to commit and get it done no excuses. Problem with me is my many excuses. Usually starting with "the bassline just isn't doing it for me" lol.
