Next thing:
Go over your cabling again.
Are you sure you don't have it plugged to midi thru?
It should go....
JP Midi out to Interface Midi in
Interface Midi out to JP Midi in
Next thing:
Don't use the ALL MIDI CHANNELS input on the track in question. Set the track to channel 1, and midi TX channel on the JP to 1.
Next thing:
In the "MIDI" menu, go to a function called "Tx/Rx Setting".
Now when you move a given slider or turn a knob it will show you the midi CC number.
Make sure cutoff controller is CC74. If not you can change it by using the inc and dec buttons on the JP. |

Pretty sure I checked this yesterday but will have another look today.

Definately not plugged into midi thru, my midiman interface has a button that needs to be pressed in order for it to act as midi thru. ITs int he correct position.

Done, I hardly ever use the "all midi channels" input out of habbit from years ago!

I checked that out last night, when I move the cutoff slider it tells me that its assigned to "sound-CTL5 CC74". I need to investigate what this "sound-CTL5" means. The manual isnt very clear on a few things.
gonna fire up the studio again today and mess around some more, I will check the above again just in case, thanks for all the help guys, really appreciate it!
