I tried to send a piece of it last night, but the CITY TV submission form failed after 7 attempts, so I gave up. I just left an email today, but it's probably going to go unnoticed. No big deal. If this house fire was important enough, there would have been something on the news about it, but so far none.

There were a million others recording on cell phones and other cameras, so I'm sure my footage will be lost in a flood to the news carriers.

What I thought was really cool to watch was the fact that EVERY surface in that garage was on fire. It was like looking down the center of a bonfire at the cottage, just before you stick your beer bottle in it to melt it.

Just think, in order to actually make money from purely the premiums they would have to collect insurance for 340 years from these insureds just to cover this loss. To suggest the industry makes money for nothing just shows you know little to nothing about insurance. I would suggest the banks do a lot less for you then the insurance companies do.

You can't look at it from the point of view that it will take 340 years of premiums from these insured people. What about the 1000$ in premiums they are collecting from the hundred of thousands of homes that will NOT burn down this year. Insurance profit is not only based on their investments, but the fact that most insured will NOT make a claim this year.

pretty much every insurance company looses money on the premium they take in from all their insureds. The only way insurance companies make money is in investments. The insurance company goal in rating for premiums is for every dollar they take in they pay out a dollar in claims so in an ideal world they break even and the money they make is on investments. The problem in Ontario, especially lately, is that the government isn't allowing companies to increase their ratings to the point where they can have an equal balance between premium in and claim payments.

I also know you can't look at it that way but I was just trying to make a point in an easy to understand way. You could also look at it that there are now 340 policies that pay $1000.00 premium that cannot make a claim.

I love how people think the insurance companies try and find ways to get out of paying claims. The insurance company only follows the agreements you make in the contract you sign with them. Unfortunately, too many people don't bother reading the agreement they sign and then turn around and bitch that the insurance company is trying to rip them off.

13-year-old charged with arson after Brampton fire
A 13-year-old boy has been charged after a house in Brampton suffered significant damage in a fire on Sunday night.

Police said they received a call at 7:15 p.m. Sunday when the home near Bovaird Dr. and Hwy. 410 was set ablaze.

Police arrested the teen on Monday and charged him with arson and disregard for human life.

No one was injured in the fire and police have not released the cost of damage.

Keep thinking that. Also, do you work for an insurance company? You seem to defend these thieves for some reason.

My parents are fighting with insurance right now. Our unit got burned to the ground because of the next door neighbors caught fire from inside and affected us as well as the unit next door.

Now, to really spoil your fun and debunk your claims about insurance procedures, the insurance company is doing everything it can to not pay through and their original offer was significantly lower than what we were insured for. Theyve tried to find as many loopholes as possible NOT to give us the coverage we were paying for, and it got to the point where we hired a lawyer to take care of these f.uckers.

But hey, you seem like you know better than people like me who get their shady treatment firsthand.

Now take a seat.
