Well Gemini is a good choice, i got the Ps-626 and have had it for about 2 years, and no problems yet, pretty much what i started on, U dont really need BPM counters, cos i couldnt afford the model with the BPM counter i thought id get the PS-626 cos its got the LED BPM meters, basically flash with the beat. Well when it came down to it, didnt even really take notice of them when i was mixing, well they can help but the mixer would do same job if it didnt have them. basically Its your Cash, and your choice, so hope ive helped a bit.

I really dont use them beatcounters.I think there annoying.
I just listen to the beat.And reaaaaal often i look just to be definitly sure the records are similar to each other
