IN fact I can't listen to a mix unless the automation is off. cat reflexes or super nerves. I will go with cat reflexes. It actually makes me motion sick. And i can't not pay attention. Just in my peripheral , my brain will start paying attention to every fader and well on a big board, it isn't fun. Even if they are dead silent, i just feel like i'm being haunted by poltergiest.

That could be easily fixed with a dedicated button to temporarily disable automation of the faders.

Sounds like me when I'm making toast. Moving faders are pretty weird.

Looks like I'm the only staring at these things in astonishment.

I'm sure in a few months the price on these will drop. If that happens, these are on the top of my shopping list for sure. Not only are they sleek, and small, but also easy to use right of the box. Tbh, I hate large bulky control boards, especially when space is limited, but it looks like these may be the answer for me. I will be definitely keeping my eye on these.

Hopefully...they will be compatible with other DAWs. Cubase FTL

Sounds like my korg nanothing second edition. bought it for 40$, plugged it into my computer, and it worked. Can't complain.

Let's not get too ahead of ourselves now.

The NanoSeries2 is a great piece of hardware. Let's put it this way. NanoSeries2 controllers are like B cups, and CMC controllers are like D cups.
Same function, but ones a little more interesting to look at

Nope, see my posts on page 1. I think they look totally cool, but, I've got the same functionality (and then some) covered by my iPad/apps.

Dis iz tru.

If you already have a hands-on interface, you don't really need these little turds. If you're like me, and have nothing at all, you really need to get your hands on something, and this may be it.

Just get a presonus faderport, or that similar thing that Dave's got. It'll give you the functionality of 3 of those Steinberg controllers for the price of one of them. With a real fader too!
