i think tascam has a 90 day or so for labour. But honestly, if it is not working, it will take them 30 seconds to know why. Probably a capacitor. And since it is all soldered on and the boards are worth pennies, they will just replace it, no labour at all.

If you write to them and butter them up, they will replace it at no cost. Although it isn't really an expensive item so maybe not. Basically, they set limits so that people that abuse there stuff don't get stuff for free.
