Yeah, I didn't think it was, as the equations wouldn't suggest it.

I come from a physics background, so whenever I see that 'curly d' I automatically think of partial differentials!

Anyway, all solved now, though

I hope so! As I type the proof out in word, following the prof's guidelines, the more I feel like I'm pulling everything out of my ass and he's going to read this with one eyebrow raised. I'd like to get a physics background, but it depends how rocky this and next semester are.

I will not type down a formal mathematical proof, let alone do OP's graded homework for him.
And I find it quite worthy of ridicule D-res, that you as for help on your homework instead of going through the trouble of understanding what the fuck the delta-epsilon definition of the limit is. Which is the entire point of such a homework. And worst of all, even after finding a wikipedia page explaining the proof to you still don't even understand it and instead try to paraphrase the wiki article.

Let me instead show that D-res intelligence tends to be zero:
For any epsilon, no matter how small, around zero (0 - epsilon, 0 + epsilon) I can always give an area around D-res defined as (D-res - delta, D-res + delta) where the function of his intelligence is within that epsilon area.

First and foremost, my homework is turned in you twat. Second, I know what a fucking delta-epsilon limit definition is. I didn't include the first 2 questions that dealt with said definition, continuity, and infinity, for that reason. Suck my ass. You don't know what the fuck you're talking about, again.

Of course you know it. As in "I know how to swim, but couldn't figure out how to do it in this specific lake". Since both questions are a straight-forward application of that definition this thread's existence proves you did not understand that concept one bit. Unless, for you, the word "knowing" means having heard of it, being able to find it in a book or online and maybe being able to recite the text.

I wish I could understand calculus without studying like you apparently can, oh calculus master Meat. My whole week-fucking-5, calc 1 class must be full of idiots since the whole room was drenched in murmurs about a proof no one had heard of before. My bad. I'll never post anything except igk and nou jokes and quips about jennypie's bum ever again.
