I went out on my own tonight as a last resort because I couldn't get in touch with anyone and ended up getting a girl's number. Wouldn't have done that if I was with friends all night. Going out on your own is better than staying in on your own, any day of any week.

and sysj - i agree with you, but i think it depends on the venue. i love going out dancing by myself. even when i go with friends i often end up doing my own thing. this is more open-air oriented and i guess i'm still too much of a child to be totally comfortable wandering around from place to place with no definitive plan on my own haha

normally it wouldn't be so bad but tonight there was a huge gathering in that area (first friday of every month) so any bar has a 30+ min wait. so miserable. i waited forever to get into some shitty bar playing teeny bopper electro house and wasn't gonan wait just as long for something similar haha
