and it is ignition for most rocket systems, because you usually do not get lift off till a second or two after full motor ignition.
For the space shuttle I think it went main engine ignition was at t-5 seconds, and at t the SRBs ignited and then at like t+2 the thing actually had enough thrust behind it to actually start gaining altitude.
