don't go to brussels, the best cities: Gent, Bruges, Hasselt, Antwerp!. if you take the train from antwerp to amsterdam there are stops in rotterdam and the hague (den haag), Den Haag is a very beautiful city! |
When visiting Hasselt then Maastricht (Holland) and maybe even Aachen (Germany) could be combined. Those are in a line of 70 km with Maastricht in the middle.
Visiting Hasselt, then on Saturday the Verzus (http://www.versuz.be) is amazing for going out. Still one of the biggest clubs in Europe (used to be Dockside)
Maastricht, no real big clubs, lots of cafe's though.
Aachen, Star Fish (http://www.starfish-aachen.de), they call it "Gross-Disko"
Bruges and Antwerp would be on top of my list. The Hague is a good choice next to Amsterdam although they only will confirm our country is flat as a pancake Difficult to imagine we also have the worlds biggest indoor ski area (Snowworld Landgraaf).
