Darude-Sanstorm ( Superchumbo Sandy Storm Remix ) is quite good imo.

i actualy like darude.. i think that sandstorm was a great hitt beacuse of the gradual progression of the beat and muzik in total.. just the way i like it.. as a storry is being told or somthing.. and it reacheses it's climax it has it's good beat.. and thats what i seriously look for in muzik..
his other song let the musik take controle. is just one going train type of song so realy i didn't like it that much..
didn't hear anything esle from him so i dont know what other type of style he would have.. to be able to make my conclusion on him..

I don't hate him but I definately don't like him either..
I must admit when I heard Sandstorm on the radio for the first time.... (I actually remember the exact moment) I thought it was great (this was before I liked any dance music), just because it was different. It even sounded mysterious. But now I can see all the layers of the music and see how simplistic it really is. And that's usually when I start to lose interest.
So I quickly went off him, and am now wondering why they didn't play all the gazzilions of songs just like it. Are pop-listeners really so stupid that they can't distinguish between two songs without vocals.. 'oh i don't have vocals it must be that darude song.'
I heard feel-the-beat recently also but I hated this one from the start. Stupid vocals make me wanna be sick. The only thing I liked about it was the kickdrum during the 'break' sounded quite good... but it did seem off-time.

I thought Sandstorm and Feel the Beat were great when they first came out. Now I just think they're good. It's no longer spun at every club every night, so it's good once in a while.

Exactly my thoughts. I mean just becuase it WAS commercial doesnt mean we can never listen to it again.

Sandstorm was cool... I don't really like it now... it gets very boring and repetitive.
Darude is really just a one hit wonder. I haven't heard any other major tracks from him, and I don't know of any remixes his done.

heh, but Sandstorm's all he needs, it's crazy, they still play that one around here like it's fresh! He has probably made quite a bit of money off that one single/album.

hahaha
exactly!!!
i hate all my obnoxious friends who calls any type of electronica "techno"
this one time, some guy goes "do u listen to trance or techno?"
so i was thinking maybe this guy knows what he's talkin about
i tell him trance, and he tells me that he'll send me a "sick trance song"
only to find out that it's some song from dance dance revolution
