Having literally grown up listening to the Essential Mix, and having seen my used-to-be-favourite Toronto resident Kenny Glasgow play in various settings around Toronto over the past 10 years, this is nothing short of surreal.

To me, playing on the Essential Mix is the surest sign for a dance music artist that you've made it.
