Yea somewhere around the 50 minute mark it seems to cross that boundary. The Shiloh "Run Away" track though is straight prog. He builds tempo and intensity nicely

John 00 Fleming's essential mix is fantastic! To be honest, genres confuse me, to me I thought this was a progressive and psytrance set.

I don't know if you're into progressive house, but John Digweed's essential mix from 2007 at the warehouse project is one of my favorite sets. It's definitely a lot different than Fleming's in style (not trancey at all) but it's really great. John Digweed is a master of set progression... he builds and builds and suddenly you're sucked into the vortex.

I like the J00F set so much because almost every track has that galloping middle bass that rocks your soul

cool! so maybe you will like this set for example:

or guest mix for GTG:

John 00 Fleming - Global Trance Grooves 99 (Guest mix-CJ Art) by john00fleming

some older ones like this:

CJ Art – Artist Of The Month @ Electronicmusic.pl
CJ Art – PHOBIQ guest mix 16-11-09 Beattunes.com

I play this ^ kind of prog. since many years (also in "Spectrum" shows on FriskyRadio), so if you enjoy some of those mixes, I can reccomend you many more

Well, that's the thing. The set is great because it develops. If he'd just kept to the prog and not gone above 132bpm it would have got a little boring by the end of two hours. I don't think you'll find what you're looking for by just asking for prog sets.

Yea to be honest I dont delve into trance that much so I'm not comfortable describing the genres. I think that pulsing middle bass and punchy kick drum sound that I'm describing is an attribute common to psytrance so I'm going to go with that describer for now.

I've been trying to find some of the tracks from J00F's 2010 EM and none of them were released on vinyl or cd that I saw except for the Shiloh.

Is there some kind of issue where producers in this genre dont care or dont have the means to release on vinyl or cd? I can't even find an entry for Iono Recordings in discogs yet there's a few of them in the set which is almost 2 years old now.

I mean, I've seen some EM's where the music inside wasnt available until 6 months or a year later, but this set in terms of not being able to find jack squat in physical format (not even a CD?) is beyond anything I've ever come across.

http://www.discogs.com/label/Iono+Music

As for music not being released in a physical format, that's not limited to trance and its a trend that won't stop also in other genres.

Thanks for the clarification on the label name

Regarding the second comment, that statement might have been makeable 2 or 3 years ago but we've reached a point where whoever was going to be digital is now digital and whoever's going to remain physical shall remain so.

I have no trouble at all finding the deep house, tech house, techno, dub techno in the formats that I need.
