Easier said than done. I think its pretty hard to find vocal trance pre 2000. Got any suggestions as to where to look?

I also like vocal trance after listing over 20 years EDM.

My friend Lisaya made some vocal trance tracks as Lisaya and Soulcry (=Lisaya (Holland) + Thomas Petersen (Sweden)), and meanwhile did do many remixes, maybe you like some:

My two favorite vocal ones of his:

DJ Nell & DJ Beda feat Anthya- Dance With Me (Soulcry Radio Edit)

Lisaya vs. Petersen pres. Soulcry - A Life So Changed (Vocals by Lena Jinnegren from Norway known of Era (Ameno, Misere Mani, The Mass))

Lisaya feat. Guido Staps - Veriditas

Lisaya - In Faith We Trust (Valletta Vocal Radio Mix)

Andy Guess - Always With Me (Lisaya vs Petersen Remix) *Unreleased Track*

Two beautiful chill-out remixes Lisaya made IMO:

I think Thomas Petersen lately has good sounding vocals, although Thomas is more focus on the harder vocals trance.
But you can check the different versions here:

Thomas Petersen vs. Mega 'Lo Mania ft. Franca Morgano - Without Your Love (PREVIEWS)

Im sorry Trance-MB but you just made a fool of yourself. Wouldn't believe you would listen to such cheesy shit after 20 years of EDM.

I'm not ashamed for what I listen(ed) to for a second, not even for Scooter, Eurodance or Happy Hardcore.
Some here will agree with you and some won't, but that's fine with me.

Sorry boy, but your the one making a fool of youself. Now, get lost please.

@ Trance-MB: Its actually funny you should link DJ Nell & DJ Beda feat Anthya- Dance With Me (Soulcry Radio Edit). I was just wrapping up a 1hour set to a girlfriend of mine using that song as the closer.

Thanks for the music. Some of those tracks were unknown to me and Im sure gonna use the chillout songs in a future project!

Why would you reply to this thread if you hate vocal trance so much?

No one thinks you have "cred" on this website simply because you think vocal trance is cheese. And so what if it is?

You're welcome. Nice that you like them, as it always is a matter of taste.

ive been in the scene along time...and vocals are probably what got me hooked back then.....but as time goes on, it seems i want less and less of them.....thought that was the evolution of every one!

Lol, just because that's how your musical evolution took place doesn't mean it's like that for everybody.

I know some old-school peeps that started listening to house in the 80s and they still prefer the vocal tracks (they are what started the whole scene afterall!).

of course not...but after all these yeears, the only people i know that still love, crave a vocal filled set are the ladies i know.....the guys all prefer something a lil harder, or have moved away from trance to tech, and breaks or what not

Indeed, I also liked vocals in house to back then, but I also liked house without and synthesizer tracks (also non-vocals like e.g. Axel F and Crocket's Theme). I still like vocals, but I don't think I prefer vocals or non-vocals.
Sometime I get the impression people here think you can't like both for some reason.

My friend Lisaya, who's 34 now started using vocals in his tracks around 2005, also making the lyrics which made it more interesting for him.
