Respect!!!
Yup,the V-Sound is definitely something they deserve respect for.Noone
has ever managed to copy them so far.I've been in love with Marco's tech-trance style ever since he blasted the shit out of my speakers with his Mysteryland 01-set.This set has some of the most WICKED transitions and mixing I've EVER heard before. And GODD...well,when the time comes that I hear this live,I'll go fucking ballistic.I'll probably come home from the event with a sore throat AND mashed feet.
Marco is god, I've been tracking him since his first club-releases..
( anyone remember luvstruck?? )
He is just the man, only one problem:
In holland he has been commercialised by TMF ( like MTV )
so now all these 10 year old's claim to be marco v fans from the first hour, not knowing anything about his history in the club scene...
That just irritates me sometimes, and we have a lot of these "fans of the first hour" over in holland, the suck...
But overall, Marco V still rules...

I hav really started to get into Marco's sound recently I think his style is great, was lucky enuff to see him live at gods kitchen a few weeks back, he amazed me with a great set of pumpin beats and heavy basslines, and when he played Godd & Indicator.....
Great mixin by him to, overall a top DJ an Producer

Huh Really that bad in Holland? Poor Marco, I wonder why he has still both feet on earth altough he is sooo comercialized there.

first time I fell in love with him was a set from 2000 on Dance Department, and than I had no clue that he was somehow involved with Lovestruck until not too long ago. But I think he has really influenced my DJing style, I used to love all the hard-tech-trance sounds to start off with but now I am just simply in love with all the tech-trance stuff! and that's what I spin!

hehe so olddd
easily one of the best overall dj/producer/remixer in the world
i also remember reading somewhere that he's been dj'ing for so long, he actually made his own pitch control before they were the 'in thing'.
his livesets are simply awesome, lots of energy, always a good track selection, some of my fav sets are Sensation [07-07-01], Mysteryland 2000 and 2001, Qontact 2001, and both TE sets in 2000.
wish he'd release more tracks tho eh ;p
marco v - echoes rox.

I like some of his stuff (e.g. "Godd" and some of the Southside Spinners tracks) but some of his productions falls into a category where (I think) there's neither melody nor hard banging rhythm enough to make it stand out from the tons of material released by other producers.
Somehow that was reflected in his performance at Mysteryland this year. He started out with some stuff that was too slow and repetive for me and ended up playing hard bangin stuff that totally tapped my energy (quite unfortunately considering I should have saved some for Picotto). I like it when DJs stick to one style during their set.

He's one of my favorite dj's ever... He makes and spins the music I really like, and gotta agree with Mysterio, the guy is very friendly. Chats to you, shakes hands, shows his records, and he's definately having fun when he's spinning.
