That's because they are out of their league. I mean, the guy a mixed some of the biggest hits in the 80's including most of the Eurythmics tracks, some of MJ's, etc. And this was 30 years ago, and he's not stopped pushing since, just now he does the biggest scores, all recorded at the best studios on earth (mainly at Todd AO, Sony, Air or Abbey Road). He can hear a track, and without touching the desk, write down all the levels and eq settings for each element for an assistant to dial in for him. It's scary, but it comes from having done it sooooooo many times, in so many different situations. You just can's stump the guy when it comes to mixing.
Told you I was right about not having a sub with Stereo setups
