It'll be cheaper than that. If I wanted to import one to Australia it'd cost me $550.89 AUD incl. shipping.
You Americans can just stroll into a store and pick one up for $499 US.
I'm on the fence as well about getting one, but only because funds are tight. I've never owned a Moog synth, so I want to have one for a while so I can stop GASSING for one, once and for all.
In the interim, I'll just be demoing Minimonsta and Symptohm.
