Don't buy lowering springs and use them with your stock shocks, it will ride like shit. Skip computer also.... you aren't turbo so the difference will be minor.
Get an intake to start, but not open air. You need a heat shield or cold air minimum. It will sound bad ass when your v-tech comes in and open you up in high rpm. Probably the best bang for buck upgrade on any car. Everything else is expensive so don't make the mistake of cheaping out and having to do the same job twice....
P.S. Honda sucks Vdub for ever

i had lowering springs with KYB GR2 shocks on my old civic hatch.
my last car had skunk2 coilover sleeves with KYB AGX shocks.
i dont like lowering springs because it is not height adjustable.
i did like the skunk2 sleeves with agx shocks for height and dampening adjustability but i still would like a proper set of coilovers. there is still a possibility that i may get sleeves again with agx shocks depending on the price of a full coilover system.
i started looking in to front and rear strut tower bars and rear lower tie bar and im thinking about going with Megan Racing. i had some generic crap on my last car.

This turn into a random car thread?
K, I know next to fuck all about car performance, but what is there out there that's reasonably easy and affordable for a 2006 Mazda 3 GT 2.3L?
Just something to make daily driving a bit more fun and peppy...

Now I only ask because I was thinking about that last year, but was conflicted on how much to spend since I heard in the end it doesn't really do THAT much, so didn't know if I was going to spend over a couple bills for a brand name one, or under a $100 and just get a generic intake.
Was also conflicted on SRI or CAI, CAI is better from what I gather, but you run the risk of hyrdolock which something I'm terrified of!
