Oh and when it gets ripped this barcode shit won't work (even though it dosent exist).

Sherman likened the system to the bar codes on merchandise bought in stores, but instead of appearing in print on the package, the code would be embedded in the digital content.
Well...they can't track it without an active internet connection to the computer. So this won't work. Nothing the RIAA develops will work.

Whoever made that comment about using total recorder is right. That way they can't get you, and it's not exactly hard to use problem solved!
Also the majority of trance/dance mp3's are ripped on vinyl cuz they're not availiable on cd. And you can't get codes on vinyl

Hmm, anything that can be encrypted and be decrypted. All people will be doing is getting "craked" mp3s, however weird that sounds.

Bleh, but this was written almost two years ago and the RIAA has done nothing.

just remember :
tape piracy used to be an issue ...
I saw a thing in a mag the other day and it was taken from an old logo that said : taping at home is illegal and it had the shape of a tape made into a skull..
the most hilarious thing.

Yea Disney introduced some piracy thing..
If you tried to copy a VHS tape the copy would be messed up and all scrambled. But meh..VHS is dead.

Just record from DVD to VHS
Route your video cables and sound cables from DVD player through a VCR player then to TV is usually what i do when recording a DVD. Most of the time, im too lazy to get a VCR tape to record it anyways
Im mad at the RIAA from taking away AG It was the best thing to use and had a lot of stuff on it.
