The first time Robbie Rivera played there in 2007'ish? that was a solid party.

So many more to think of...the first year was untouchable.

I'm suprised it lasted as long as it did as well. I can't even remember the last time I went there, definitely before they split the club up. Maybe splitting the club up into two floors gave the club some additional legs?

Looking back on the place, outside of a few Lawler gigs, a couple of Masiello (first one especially) / Demi gigs I can't really think of alot of events from there that have stuck with me. I did have some decent times there but for the most part I didn't have too many super memorable experiences at the club. Nothing compared to Guv / System when those two venues were in form.

So ... meh ...

Best night for me was hands down March 16 2007, Steve Lawler played till around 5:30 or so.... It's prbly one of the best set's I have ever hered, it just kept building and building....
When we left the club there was like 5inches of snow on the ground and made it one wild right home to say the lease....
FYI Manzone and Strong opened as per ususal and they were also on fire that night....

SOHO had a really good run for a good couple of years, the first two years I spent so many Fridays at that club. When the night first began, not long after the closing of System... the SOHO night vibe was so good. The glitz, flashy lights and the pretentiousness hadn't started to sink in yet....

This night was great...I wish Jimmy Van M picked it up a bit sooner but when he did it was so crazy. I don't think he's been back in T-Dot since...he doesn't really tour a lot, does anyone know why? Why hasn't Cobra or Footwork booked him?? Overlooked DJ/Producer for sure...he was the reason why Sasha/Digweed even got introduced to NA.

all i know is the Soho Fridays format will be relocated to another venue at the end of february. as for what This Is London will be doing with their fridays i really have no idea.
