It's taken me time to get used to this motha, it's pretty deep in that everything is tweakable and often multi faceted, it's easy to get a little lost and ruin a sound, so save as you go. That vid I posted up leaves some key details out. I find asigning the LFO's a mystery even now.

Spent a while making a perc sound on it tonight and it's great to have such tweakability in a synth.

I have Sylenth but didn't find perc / blips and blops sound as grungy and convincing as Cypher.
Have you thought about one of the small cheaper hardware devices, such as some of the small German boutique synths?

Oldie indeed! Will give it a go

Magnus its windows only.

And Richard, I'm trying really hard not to buy new hardware

I almost got the perc made that i had in mind, layered from Rapture and Sculpture. But we all know how hard it is to recreate whats in your head perfectly.

Julz - if you want to know what Ctpher can do check out the track I posted up - the Berlin one as I finnished it today. All of the percy things that evolve are Cypher.

You might want to check how the perc evolves in the main break as it does some interesting things (IMO of course) and then a differnt one in the main drop.

I'm mentioning this as it's pertinent to this thread - not to pimp a ride!
