Iceland and Faroe Islands are basically the same in terms of people, language and culture.

Inbreeding is worse in Faroe Islands though. Many of them actually have a rare disease called "Systemic primary carnitine deficiency" which prevents the body from using fats for energy.

Actually, both are just approximations. The actual sound is similar to the German ö (say B - Yairk, and then round your lips when you say "air").
