B-class players?
You gotta be fucken kidding me...
All those players were leaders in a certain category (assists, rebounds, scoring).
Paul Pierce was 3rd leading scorer, Andre Miller was 1st in assists, Ben Wallace was the leading rebounder, etc, etc... now if you consider these to be B-class players, then I dunno what a hell are you people thinking?
Who would be the A-team then? Shaq, Kobe, Vince, Iverson, Garnett? Get the hell out of here. I wouldn't let those 2 arrogant bastards (Shaq & Kobe) represent my country even if its future depended on them, Vince would've been a good choice, but he's a cry baby and Peja would've smoked his ass anyway, Iverson would've probably ended up in jail for possession of drugs or an armed attack on someone even before the qualifiying games started... bah. Excuses, excuses, excuses...
Just like George Karl said it (we caught him on the streets of the Indianapolis after the tournament was over) after we asked him what happened to the team USA & how could they lose 3 straight - "Well, we had 9 injuries, we just couldn't handle the opponents". BUHAHAHHAHAHAAA, another lame excuse...
And yes, who won the whole thing again? And who will be winning this for the next 50, 100 years or so? The one and only - YUGOSLAVIA!
