I dont think I wholly agree with that statement. Yes The Technics 1210's are pretty much the best deck, but I don't think when it comes down to it, even that expensive Stanton mixer can match a top end Rane or Allen & Heath, + u forgot the Ortofon DJ Concordes/Nightclubs stylii

P.S read the headfones thread... MDR-V700DJ = & HD280 Pro and Sony V6 = (they whip its ass, )

If u have seen the video from DJ Tiësto's performance at Dutch Dimension [02.02.2002]. U can see that he used the Stanton VRM-10 mixer.

I havent seen the video, hmm well it could be a beast, I dont think DJs get paid to use Mixers like they do headfones

If someone has used this mixer and can compare it to the others tho... would be good.

replace that stanton box with any of the a&h xone's and you would be correct The VRM10 is pretty nice though, but i've never used one. I dont think i'd chunk down almost 2 grand for anything from stanton

i'm still not sure why people bash the V700DJs so heavily on this board - maybe they are just not well suited to dolphin trance or omething.
