How the mighty have fallen!

Not renewing my XM subscription - there's nothing left to listen to.

Raw Dog - is all yap fest now, no comedy left - just stupid unfunny shit.
Blue Collar - also, too much "show" , not enough comedians
Area 52 - All "Afrojack" or SHM sound, which I cannot fucking stand
And of course The Virus - which is completely fucking lame now

Worthless...

execpt theres also

coffee house, classic vinyl, classic rewind, deep tracks, bpm, stern, lithum, alt nation, octane, shade45, backspin and finally 90s and 70s on 9/7.

lots of choice there, at least thats what i rotate through frequently.

Don't listen to any of it... maybe hairbands. Also, it looks like you may have the best of sirrius package, which is more than my XM $88/year nets me. I'd love to get the sirius side of it, as George Carlin channel alone would be worth it but I'll be damned if I'm paying $140 (or more) a year for Sirius/XM.

Not much difference watching a DJ spin vs watching some twat pluck strings on a guitar to songs you already know.

So many feel that the guys who stand on stage and play their tracks have no talent, but I look at it like someone displaying their already created Art to an audience. They have compositional talent and the audience gets to hear these tracks in all their glory through the best setups money can buy.

The people who are impressed that a person can even play a certain song in the first place want to see that performance. That's completely different from having the creativity to create the song in the first place. But these performance-minded people want to unfairly judge composers like performers.

I understand that musicians had to be performers for anyone to even hear any compositions at all before, but now we live in a time where the composer can stand on stage and let us hear the most perfect rendition of his/her work. They can even make many variations and cycle through them at different shows if they'd like. People like Howard Stern refuse to accept this as valid and it's obnoxious.
