disrespectful to the dj that they booked, but hey they booked him - as long as they paid him in full the club can do what they want... probably figured they weren't going to sell as many $15 cocktails unless they got their resident back on the decks to drop some (read: cut the) cheese

I'd say that's pretty fair. Club screwed themselves cause he and other legit DJs probably won't return, and if they do they'll request more of a booking fee. DF didn't sell out so can stay proud of that but he paid the price of getting the boot. And who knows what the real reason is, maybe the owner had a drugged out daughter who was itching for some Guetta. Everything balances out at the end of the day and really nobody should be that upset...
