He played a decent set, I'd give it a 6/10. It got pretty packed, but definitely a college crowd who mostly didn't know who the DJ was. They had $2 you call it drinks and ladies drink free till midnight which was surprisingly knew. However, they tried to enforce collared shirts only at the door, which didn't last long because half the guys in there wore t shirts. Never seen that before at the Roxy, I would have been pissed but he let me in.

Insomniac did a good job upgrading the sound, had some dancers...Chris didn't come on till 1am. He may have played till 3, I left around 240.

This is an older post but I was there and it was alright. I'll agree with the 6/10. I'm not too big into the house scene and really hadn't heard much from the guy prior to going to the show.

I enjoyed myself though and it was worth the money.

I was there and thought Chris Lake did alright, he actually kept it more techy than I thought he was going to, although there were plenty of electro-bombs and trouse anthems mixed in.

But that place has a terrible crowd, lol. Seeing Romero tomorrow night at Vain -- always a better crowd and just a much better venue.
