the old stuff was organic. it sounded like music, not some computer production.

the best riffs were from flutlicht, which ironically i feel kick-started this trend in over produced music, however no-one did it as good as them. as a result trance has been dead to me for many years - just listen to the shit PVD, corsten and AVB spin these days... compare that to 1998 - 2003... there is no comparison.

back in the day you struggled to find a bad tune, today it's the opposite.
