the party is a vinyl reunion
vinyl= a club in nyc he was resident at from about 99/2000 to 2004
so it's gonna be a night dedicated to classics
he usually spins from 1-8/9
with this new announcement tho with this being his farewell party

i know he has inspired many a dj. so glad i got to see him a few times, one of them being in Ibiza at Space. wasn't my favorite set but damn the production was insane
first time i saw him he came on Sunday morning in Miami after another party i was attending, i didn't want to leave but had a flight to catch (early in my edm years, i learned to never leave miami on sunday during conference after that)

that NY party is gonna be legendary, i have no doubts!

No chance he is done. Just like everyone else that said they were done(Judge Jules, Danny Rampling, etc..) He will step away from DJing for a year or two and come right back. Guy loves it too much.


If this is really the last time he plays it would be a real shame.
Some of the best sets I ever experienced have been from him. Not many DJ's can play 7-8 hours and make it interesting.






And I guess this means he will be canceling EDC too?

He played from 4am to 4pm New years Eve in Playa Del Carmen this year. Crazy!

this does sadden me but I gotta say, good for him! I'm glad to see he is doing this on his own terms. if he feels he is missing something in life, he should find out what it is. as much as he has pleased us, he feels the need to please himself and we, as fans, should let him do that and if he should return, we will be there(hopefully).

same story as that guy, Hollywood Carter... but like fly on shit. can't keep em away...

I was looking forward to seeing him at EDC, just based on what Markus says about him, sounds like a legend.

Since we're on the subject of Tenaglia, does anyone know the relationship between him and MJ? I've always wondered.
