Watch dogs looks great. but also just looks like an EXTREMELY polished GTA4..not going to bother with it (of course i don't play a lot of games to begin with)

Not even sure if this was shown at E3, but Resident Evil 6 looks fairly nuts.
Ultimately though, I think things haven't been so great because the gaming industry is in shambles. I don't see it making a comeback for at least another 2 waves of consoles (if consoles manage to survive that long). By then, everything will be both holographic and internet based, and they'll probably figure out a way to integrate video games into eyeglasses (a la Google Glasses) so that people can play anywhere, and still get the full experience. Until then, I suppose we'll have to keep watching the industry bleed, and enjoy a lot of these great, albiet much smaller, independent games that continue to be released in Xbox Live Arcade & PSN.
