The last Big Hard House tune Jules played was BK – Revolution. Before that it was probably Eufex – One On One. And that was the Summer of 2000. Yes, Jules can and does play a few Hard House numbers now and again but it really isn’t the main stay of his set. I think your getting the few Techno tunes he spins confused with Hard House.

For all people that slate Jules, the radio show is not Jules at his best. The same goes for Dave Pearce for crying out loud. On Radio 1, the BBC have HUGE amount of input of what can and can’t be played on the radio. It’s a simple fact. That’s mainly why his Creamfields 2002 set was so poor.

Jules I think is a GOOD DJ and has got talent.

a good tune is a good tune. no matter how much it is played it still remains the same as when it was first written/made. i think The Theme is a GOOD TUNE. and when the time comes when ive heard it a million times it wont become crap, it'll become tiresome.

hope he comes back to belgium soon...

I was there too, and I must say he surprised me too in a positive way. After all that harder stuff it was very nice to get such a trancy set at the end, perfect finish

The fact that he had Boozy Woozy - Party Afair in his playlists shows me that he is not any better than Jean & Gielen.

I've never heard him play that, he certainly didn't play it at Gatecrasher last time I saw him, hate to admit it, but he was fucking good

Well being from Canada, I don't get the opportunity to see him. However, my trip to Europe this year let me see him countless times, so many times that he's become my most watched DJ (5 times). I saw him at an industry party at AKA/ The End at the end of July, at GKGG, and in Ibiza 3 times and he quickly became one of my fav DJs. I loved him before I saw him, but watching him play with so much energy really made him that much better. He was rocking everytime I see him, especially at GKGG. HE DROPPED THE OPERA SONG AND THE THEME!!! I really don't see why people bash the Judge so much. He gets the crowds going so insane that only a handful of DJs can. The wikkid thing was at the industry party, he played a funky house set which was awesome and surprising to see from Julesy. Great stuff from him this year. Can't wait till I hit up Ibiza again and the Radio 1 party.

yeah.

m.i.k.e. started off nice in the trance area, but his set got harder and harder, it was a little too much for me after a while. he rocked a bit earlier in the main area, he was doing a storming progressive set there, but there was practically nobody in the room (it was only 9.30).
a pleasant surprise was minimalistix. his productions suck imo, but his set yesterday was great (he even dropped carrera 2). and marco v. rocked the place as well.
i really can't complain about the night i've had. best moment was of course when mauro picotto spun umek - gatex, 5000 people were going absolutely crazy.

I dunno...Jules has always been a 'party' DJ, i.e. a great live entertainer but I just listened to tonight's Radio 1 show and some of his mixing was really, really poor.

LOL

His show last week was much better, think it may have had sommit to do with 2 storming sets at slinky and godskitchne the night before

But he still played some top tracks, but a si say his radio1 show is not a patch on his real live sets in clubs
