i busted out laughing when i read that..and to a point its true

but not all people are hopeless my parents for one dont mind it. my dad was working on his computer and he started playng a trance playlist i had on there awhile back. he went through sunrise at palamos, missed beat (dumonde remix) and said he didnt mind listening to it while he worked. i thought it was pretty cool so i put in ISOS 2 and 3 for him...didnt want to freak him out with anything to hard.

my mom doesnt mind what i listen to, she was actually eager to know about the genre she leans more toward ambient stuff though.

and then there are the inoramuses who just dont get it and are like "trance is gay" such a great argument they have....

Glad I could give you a chuckle. You make a good point that there are plenty of people out there who DO have an open mind. My brother is mostly into alternative, but he absolutely loves Gouryella - Gouryella, and my roommate is getting pretty addicted to Chicane.

It's usually the people who don't really listen that don't understand trance at all. The sad point I was trying to make is that there are a lot of them.

i guess its just a matter of opion and how you get your kicks in music. i mean i cant stand that slip knot and mudvayne and all that junk. ive listen to it and tryed to under stand heavy metal, but i just think its so unfilling, trance leaves me differently than i was before. heavy metal just leaves me angry or in a badd mood. other people it calms them down.

also i think it has to do with trance being so underground...

Love Poundin' Sensation

If someone doesn't understand trance then it is their loss. They will miss out on one of the best things in life.

But I know what you mean though. For me it is hard because I love the feelings trance gives me and want to share that feeling with everyone I love, but they just don't get it, so I am stuck only talking about it and sharing feelings about it here.

I tend do disagree with that statement. Most people down your local love cheesy tracks such as Fragma, Darude, Ian van Dahl etc. Play some real trance and they'll go 'WTF is this repetitive crap?'. Anyway, who care. I just call them 'unenlightened'. Ignorant fools!
