Nevermind what they are, there's a gazillion tower defence maps on battle net for both of them.
Warcraft 3 is what popularised the tower defence genre
there's green td, blue td, elemental td, paladin td and heaps more, at least 10 decent ones.
Some solo, some team & paladin td probably hasn't been replicated outside of warcraft 3 (you build/upgrade buildings for income, which also better sends out units the more upgraded they are so your survival also depends on how well the person to the left of you is going).

Suffice to say, there's variety
There's also the fact that you get access to all the other awesome maps on warcraft 3 (and the awesome campaign). You'll need the expansion too btw.
