for those who got the cd single in the UK, theres also 2 short rips, one of the original, and one with more vocals in than the club mixes, both under 3:30 if I remember right

Just about right, not 1992 though, that would be a bit early.

As far as I know the 9:34 version is the Original Mix and it was released on Cyber Records alongside the VdM mix -- in the summer of 1999.

According to discogs.com the shorter mix was released on AM PM records. I can't verify that though.

Hope this helps. I am still trying to get ahold of the Armin Remix sometimes mistakenly called the Communication II which it is not. Is soley the Armin Van Buuren Remix.

Also the original has no vocals. You are refering to the armin remix. The quake remix has some in it, but it is nothing as powerful and moving as the armin remix.

My vinyl only have this versions :
