Of all people to be talking shit, it shouldn't be burger boy sneak.

I saw him twice in Miami this year nearly ruin a party simply due to him sucking and! not knowing how to beat match on cdj's.

see for yourself on be-at.tv
fatboy b2b with dubfire: circoloco@the surfcomber

Sneak is a pioneer in his own right, no doubt, but that back to back with Dubfire was horrible. I was glad I watched it rather than attend. Dubfire was tearing the place up everytime he got on, and then Sneak would jump on and completely kill the mood. Good point.

I agree with this.

The future of DJing isn't about being able to properly beatmatch, but being able to program and make your sets your own style. The appreciate of old school DJs will always be there, though....but times are changing and they can choose to accept it, or be bitter. Up to them. DJ booths more than ever are being pulled away from the crowd, as the DJ is now the "star" of most nights, unlike the old days where the DJ booth would be up in the corner and out of the way of the crowd in venues. Crowds can't even see what the DJ is even doing that well overall.

Note - if your set is pre-recored altogether, that's a different matter.

I also agree with this.

My ex stopped listening to electronic music all together a few years ago, because he thinks in order to be a real "dj", you have to use vinyl and fade in & out of songs.

That's more movement than I do in a week! I mean, shoot.... People love to watch the olympics to see this type of stuff without good music playing!
