Oh about those 192k encoded mp3s, Make sure and check the ID3 tags on them cause there are some that say joint stereo and stereo, I perfer if all the mp3 rips were in 192k Stereo instead of joint stereo, joint stereo looses some of its audio quality.

I'm a bit of a quality nazi. I wish release groups would release unencoded .wav files in addition to 192 mp3. For me, there's not a huge difference in quality, but definitely a noticable one. For songs I really like, I want the best quality possible.

That's right! JS "Monouralises" some sounds that aren't very far from the centre of the sound stage. Here's an example: A sound originally 15% between Centre and Left will be moved to Centre when JS is used. A sound that's 75% between Centre and left will be moved to Left when JS is used. That's all JS is but, it CAN be annoying with a sound that moves back and forth from Left to Right because sounds "jump" accross the sound stage, they don't go as smoothly due to Joint-Stereo. This is how LP4 compression is achieved with Minidisc. LP2 is regular Stereo.

I DO have a question here, though: in this command, should I LEAVE the "lowpass 19.5" in there or not?: -b 320 -h --lowpass 19.5
What it's supposed to do is cut off all frequencies above 19500 Hz. r3mix.net reccomends leaving it in but, I want to find out what do you say about it. Also, if I encode at 320 kbps, would the artefacts that r3mix speaks of that will be AUDIBLE if the lowpass is turned off still be there? Because they only speak of 256 kbps, NOT 320. I already cut the JS off. After I see ur opinions on this, I'll know if this command is perfect or not. It practically is right now but, The Lowpass is what bothers me. Otherwise, it's perfect right now.
