i totally agree!!! breaks is really blowing me up these days! has been for about the last 6 months. its so amazing. with the uprise of koma & bones, rennie pilgrim, tayo, hyper, and the us people, baby anne, sharaz, rick west, doc roc, icey

breaks is my preferred genre now. but i can always go for some amazing trance.

there has been a huge surgence (in the scene, not commercially) of techno this year, specially with a load of trance DJs trying their hardest (and mostly failing) to mangle techno into their sets somehow.

Tribal House is the in genre for the 917490317974317471 consecutive year here in Portugal.. Psy-Trance as grown a lot too this year, going close to be as popular as the traditional house and techno. "Euro" Trance continues to be unheard. Progressive trance is slowly, very very slowly, starting its scene.

but here in Madeira Island.. well, it continues to be only Tribal House and cheese

Emerge was originally released in Sept. 2001. Funny how most on here slept on it, til Paul dropped it earlier this year. If you think the video for Emerge is fucked, you have to see them live! Talk about a "freak show." #1 is still my favorite album of 2002.
