Bought a Z2, best mixer I have ever used, better then A&H, pioneer (nexus), vestax, you name it. My transitions were never so better. I'm so happy. I'm going to sell the vestax PMC-05 Pro 4 mixer in ebay.

Are you asking if DJs use the audio interface of the controller of the onboard laptop soundcard? Then yes. I'd think in most cases, they do.

i would of assumed the drivers and overall perfomance just kinda shitty. I would of assumed an interface with at least 2 stereo outs going to some mixing source that can also input a safe guard like say your emergency track on a cdj if shit hits the fan.

if you run a all-in-one controller, I would think, more often than not, It's connected through a channel on the dj-mixer. Usually on a channel reserved for a CDJ. And in more complicated setups you always figure out a fail safe.

Anyways, the quality and performance on the NI integrated cards are pretty good. Same components as they use on their dedicated dj interfaces, and it works pretty flawlessly, unless you're being too optimistic with the latency settings.
