My advice is be ballsy, and be forward. I'm guessing that your still in high school/secondary school. To be honest (and this isn't to offend anyone) but for most, at that time of life you're lucky if you have half an idea of what is going on in your own head (God knows I got troubles trying to work through a 20-something head). Forget trying to figure her head out.
Ask her out. Don't be pushy. Don't be dramatic or sappy. Don't try to be cute with a card or some other bull shit ( I say all this as I used to know someone who swoe by this method and got no piece in school). Just go and ask her out.
If she is genuine. If she is down to earth she'll look you in the eye and say yes. If on the other hand she's like most (again no offense meant to anyone or group) she'll try and fuck with you... (but maybe that's just tint from my series of dysfunctional relationships, who knows).
I learned one thing in school. To avoid disaster, embarrassment, pain and anguish always communicate quickly, clearly and honestly...

In your case, you want something that you don't even know if you can have or not, which is a hard-to-help situation. Asking her out is a good idea.
I only found 4 explanations:
1) She found out you fancy her and she doesn't want to break your heart.
2) She found out you fancy her and she fancies you as well - maybe she's shy, maybe she's playing some "game"
3) She thinks you don't want to talk to her because of that AIM thing...
4) She's a girl... everytime you think you understand a girl, believe me, you'll find out there's something else you didn't know

do something about it or you're never going to win anything
girls are just like that, they need their attention , or you will lose them , and if you don't come back , chances are , she won't make a step in your direction again...
oh and my advice, don't be to upfront either like " I like you " and phrases like that, keep it simply like, " I miss talking to you " " Ich vermisse sprechen zu ihr " ( is that right ? )

Well i did ask her out she said sure but we are going out this weekend cuz she's going over to her grandma's house this weekend.
