name one plugin that could actually switch reverb type without generating noticeable discontinuities. It is simple rhythmic modulation on the reverb source. LFO tool would do this. Xfer is run by Dudda. It is a good chance he is also using it. I feel like you are grasping for a solution but haven't really thought it out or tried it.

Reverence in the last version of Cubase 5 does exactly this. Even adjusting parameters such as time and pre - delay results in just smooth transitions.

I was doing it last night and it sounds very similar to what Joel is doing there.

I knew all about lfo tool before you explained it, and yes it's possible it could be that.

Just sounds like the instrument is going into a send with a nifty reverb (well-timed pre-delay) which is then routed into a delay. It sounds nice.

reverence has 1 algorithm. It also doesn't have the control needed to do what is happening ie a rhythmic modulation on the reverb. It is rather simple and lfo tool is the most effective way to do it. You could also use it to send midi data to control parameters but this isn't what is happening.

I think you bring up a useful technique but the one tool that makes this so much easier is lfo tool or cableguys midi. It allows you to use global envelopes instead of creating custom automation every single time you want to do something.
