Im using a DJM-500, its baisically the best mixer ive spun with. The 600 is sweet but wasnt worth the extra 400 dollars for a few more effects.

ok, bad subject line, sorry. by "best mixer" i meant the best for trance/progressive/breakbeat DJs, not battle DJs. sorry for the (possible) confusion.

huh, this poll sucks 'coz i failed to include Rane 2016 MP/XP? well apparently i can't name every single mixer out there, so the 8th option is to let you name the best mixer in your opinion.

no you didnt include any Rane,Allen Heath Xone 6,Urie ...etc which are the best mixers in the world .... and some of the mixer that u listed arnt that great ..... if yuou had a poll on the Rane XP, A&H xone 6, and the classic urie....which are all rotary mixer ... that would be a good poll ... just my opinion

I go for the bigger brother of the Dateq XTC, the Dateq LPM 7.3 This mixer kick's ass. I had the XTC, but that baby only had 3 channels, and i have 2 mk2's and a 2600F. The Apollo is also good, but i don't need/use the crossfader, so i go for more input options and a master fader. The LPM 7.3 is really expensive for your bedroom, but it's the best thing i ever had. If i want to mix trance, it's possible. If some idiots on guitars want to play on my PA, its possible, but most of all: Dateq lasts for a lifetime...

So that's my (own) favourite mixer... Maarten

Agreed, the club that i spin at has a Rane 2016 mp/xp rot moxer. By far the smoothest, best mixer i have ever laid hands on. DJM 600 is great dont get me wrong, but in the actual club this is the best to use.

For battle i would have to say the vestax 07 is the best ( and the lovely focus fader !!!)

But I wish you would have put the rane down so i could vote for it.......

what do the these really top top mixers go for price wise... whats that one tiesto swears by and uses at dutch dimension? (i think there the same one ) the stanton vrm-10 or something? i think someone mentioned it before... i dunno if tiesto is sponsered by stanton or what though because he has stanton headphones too and made a POINT of saying there better than the sony ones... (they look heaps alike) so yeah... but it seemed like a pretty bad ass mixer... he said it goes for 10 grand US! thats like 20 grand AUS! imagine the shipping :eyes

I always find it weired seeng a djm-600 in black. Looks nice against the black tech's. I don't see what everyone is raving about the 600 for though. It's not that special. Most of the effects are pretty much useless in the club situation.

Don't get me wrong, I luv my djm-600, but i'm sure there's a lot better out there

Well, I've always heard that Rane is the best when it comes down to mixers, and Im actually waiting on mine that I ordered a week ago, its the MM8z...
I havent used it yet, since im still waiting, but Im curious as to why they are so much better than other mixers?
I've heard that the durability is best... is that the only thing???
