treating with drunks is a dj skill in itself :P just grin and explain them that soooon you'll drop their track, save this tracks you don't want to play but have to for when their patience is running out. It's very unlikely that they complain to the manager, specially if he wanted to try something different.

if you don't play in a shitty venue, those types of drunks will never make it near you.

everyone has played on shit venues, and on good venues still sometimes you get someone annoying next to you. SOmeone that pretends to be your friend and pass security, friends of another dj drunk as fuck... variety of things. Even people climbing to yell "YU PLAI DAVID GUETAAA"

of course.

i'm just glad i don't anymore. i bring my own gear and a fucload of expensive records. no one comes close to that unless they just lay back, and open their mouth.
