ya coachella is all about the dubstep and electro garbage now. the big djs. this year they have paul kalkbrenner playing randomly. but i think 2010 they had sasha and sven vath playing

the threat title is a blatant lie...

the dj was asked to end his set short and have the local closer come on. The dj still got paid his fee. 99% of the people who post on the west coast forum if told by their boss 20 minutes into their work day "you can go home, we will pay you for the rest of the day" would go home, so why go on the forum and post that this is "whack" ?

because dj's are paid to be entertainers, and consumers pay to be entertained by dj's.

if you pay to see the lakers play, you expect to see the lakers play, not the d league.

Too little, too late. I think bigperf is confusing Afrojack with Shadow, some people actually enjoy playing their music for fans instead of cashing in on the fact that he got booted off the decks. Of course, there would be no way in hell afroshit would be kicked because all of the "fans" would be outraged.

Afro was kicked off of Voyeur SD. He was so wasted and didn't want to stop playin yet he was trainwrecking like no tomorrow. They had some one else patch in the sound and play while he thought he was still on lol

but why is he trying to get booked at Mansion in the first place? Not a good move by either party. Artists gotta know what an appropriate venue is for them. DJ Shadow at Mansion? That's just weird...anyone could see that it wasn't going to work. Bottle sluts and high rollers are not going to be digging his work, bottom line.
