Help tha man out....First when you save as. There is the little drop down box that sais image file or jpg htm whatever the song is currently name, change that to all(usually dont have to but better safe). At the end of the file name you want to change the .*** to .mp3. You didnt catch it at this phase, and you have one of the "Great features" of windows turned on. Hideing of known file type extensions. so if you try to change it to .mp3 it thinks you want it blablabla.mp3.jpg. Anyway depending on what version of windows you have here is a simple way to turn it off.

Im on 2000
open any folder go to tools > Folder options > View (tab) > click the box beside hide file extensions for known file types. Now the file should be named *.jpg At this point you should be able to just right click > rename *.mp3 and it should work fine.

Alot of people have this problem with the file extension is hidden becuase when you rename it doesnt let you rename whats after the .

Anyways that may not be your prob but most likely

this mite sound stupid but if any off you have Leech FTP you can acutally change you extensions in there, just browse to the file and right click to rename.

if you dont have that i think the easiesat way is to goto command prompt or DOS then get yaself into the directory the file is in say C:\My Music then type rename song.jpg song.mp3
so it looks like this

C:\My Music> rename song.jpg song.mp3

sorry if someone has said this but i tend to just skim read above posts sometimes hehe

i use win2k, all i do is rename the file to .mp3 because all the filenames show up with the extension, but i think what you are trying to do, when you download teh track, right click save as all files, and then rename the file to .mp3 and press save
or i think if you resave the file, save it wiht quotations or some shit like that, i cnat remember, and you can change it
